Executive Committee

The Group Exec. (as they are affectionately known) are a bunch of folk, often parents of children within the Group. Their role is one of support for the Group as a whole. This can be in many forms, including financial support, fundraising, recruitment, additional manpower, transportation, equipment management, group communication (newsletter), social activities etc., etc.

The format of the Committee is :-

Chairman
Treasurer,
Secretary
together with 7 other members,
and our Quartermaster.

All three Leaders of the uniformed sections are co-opted members of the committee, and attend regularly to update the members on the respective activities of their section. They also advise of any forthcoming events, where support may be required.

The Group Scout Leader is also an ex officio member of the committee.

The Committee meet on a regular basis (usually bi-monthly) when a full agenda is discussed to promote all of the afore mentioned activities.
